Memberships
All memberships are set up on a recurring payment schedule. Once a membership payment has been processed, it is non-refundable. It is the responsibility of the member to cancel their membership prior to the next billing date if they no longer wish to continue.
Play Passes & Class Passes
Purchased Play Passes or Class Passes that have not been used are non-refundable. The only exception is if a scheduled open play session or class is cancelled by Just Kidding Play Cafe — in that case, the unused pass may be refunded or credited to the customer’s account upon request.
Cancellations by Just Kidding Play Cafe
If we must cancel an event, class, or open play session for any reason, affected customers will be offered a refund or credit.
Membership Early Cancellation Policy
effective 11/17/2026
To maintain fairness and protect the discounted value offered in our memberships, early cancellations after using benefits are considered misuse of the membership. Examples include, but are not limited to:
1. Using More Services Than the Membership Cost Covers
Example:
A member with an Unlimited Classes & Visits plan may attend $120 worth of classes in the first month while only paying the $89 membership fee, then request cancellation.
Because the member has received more in services than they paid for, canceling before the 3-month commitment results in a financial loss for our small business.
2. Using Discounted Perks and Attempting to Cancel Immediately After
This may include redeeming free visits, member-only discounts, guest passes, or class credits at the discounted rate and then requesting an early cancellation before the minimum term has been met.
3. Signing Up for a Membership Only for a Short-Term Need
For example, enrolling to take advantage of a month of unlimited access, attending multiple high-value sessions, and then canceling as soon as the child’s schedule changes.
Our memberships are structured for ongoing family use, not short-term access.
Why This Matters
We are a small business, and our membership pricing is intentionally designed to give families significant value and savings. When a member uses discounted services that exceed what they have paid and then cancels early:
-
It creates a financial loss that we cannot absorb
-
It affects our ability to offer affordable pricing
-
It impacts staffing, scheduling, and class preparation
The 3-month minimum commitment ensures sustainability and fairness for every member.
Members who have already used discounted services exceeding the value of one month’s membership will not be eligible for early cancellation, as this constitutes misuse of the membership benefits.
